At the University of Tromsø (Norway), Faculty of Health Sciences, the Department of Psychology, a permanent position as an Associate Professor is available for the role of teaching and research in the field of work and organisational psychology. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who will add strength and expertise to work and organisational psychology teaching at our study programs, and who is also willing to build and develop the research environment within work and organisational psychology at the department.
The candidate will be expected to teach at the Master and Clinical programs in psychology. In both programs, the basic foundations of work and organizational psychology will be outlined. Followed by this, the focus in the Clinical program will be on work and mental health, and the significance of work in prevention, treatment and rehabilitation with an applied approach. In the Master program, the focus will be on the main areas of work and organizational psychology and how they may be applied in non-clinical settings. The candidate is also expected to supervise student theses at both Bachelor, Master and PhD level. Other possible areas of work may be to identify and develop arenas for student practice within work and organizational psychology.
