The Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership at the Ivey Business School, Western University, in London, Ontario, Canada invites applications for a Post-doctoral Research Fellowship in the area of leadership and leader character. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the executive director of the Institute for leadership, affiliated faculty and PhD students, and industry partners to conduct research related to the development of character in business leadership. The appointment is for a two-year period.
The Institute has made research, teaching, and outreach on leader character its distinct differentiator in the vast leadership space. We aspire to be recognized by researchers and practitioners as a globally leading Institute for research, teaching and outreach regarding the awareness, assessment and development of leader character.
The Institute is a critical component of the Ivey Business School’s strategy for developing business leaders for the 21st century. The Ivey Business School is Canada’s premier business school and is recognized worldwide for the quality of its management education and research. Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have completed their Ph.D. An excellent command of verbal and written English is a must as are outstanding interpersonal skills. Candidates must possess superior empirical research skills in business as demonstrated by prior research projects, doctoral work, publications or employment experience. Interest in achievements relevant to the Institute for Leadership’s mission and the primary research focus of the position must be clearly articulated in application materials to be considered.
